The Verve Pipe has been one of my favorite bands since before they were even signed. Over the years I've designed posters, merch, and albums for the band including "Reconciled", their most recent release. The album explores some pretty heady themes, like the fleeting and fragile nature of relationships. The concept of Japanese kintsugi popped in my head—the art of taking broken things and making them whole again with gold as a binding agent. What if we could repair ourselves in this same way? The brokenhearted redefined, elevated, morphed into a thing of broken beauty.
